Nothing terribly profound there, right? Vendor buddy at Excal was playing that Sunday morning, half mumbling the words, but I know them by heart. . .

I started to tear up, had to walk away get a drink and come back when I had control again. I wasn't necessarily crying out of sadness, it may have been relief.

It amazes me how sometimes a totally innocent gesture can expose raw nerves and possibly profound truth.
